Senior front-end designer/developer on the Enterprise data warehouse development team. This position requires extensive design/development experience in Business Objects and Java scripts, solid Data Warehouse experience, and SQL expertise. Ability to communicate effectively with Business users to collect user requirements.

Responsible for the full-life cycle of the warehouse from analysis through implementation into a production data warehouse. Responsible for the definition, development, and testing of the processes and programs necessary to present data from a Enterprise Data Warehouse database. Perform in-depth data analysis and translate specifications into a working universe and/or reports. Design and develop enhancements to the tools to meet user?s requirements utilizing Java. Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment is critical.

Ability to work independently or with a team to do all of the following: communicate well with users to understand requirements, analyze data, and identify business rules.

Technical Skills:

Expertise with Business Objects suite of products including Designer
Application Foundation is a plus
Experience with Java, TOAD, SQL, and Oracle
Experience working on medium to large-scale data warehouses
Data Analysis/Reporting Experience

Soft Skills:

Ability to work unsupported/unsupervised
Ability to translate business needs into universe designs and reports
Ability to write clear and concise technical design documentation
Excellent communication skills
Excellent team interaction skills
Good client interaction skills

Qualifications:

BA or BS in Computer related field
4+ years Data Warehousing
2+ years Java Script
