Technician for Computer Science Corporation

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Under the general direction of the Supervisor of Field Support, helps users achieve optimum use of their personal computer systems by performing needs analysis, procurement support, installation, and problem resolution. Responsible for configuration and installation of personal computer and desktop hardware, software, and communication links. Implements solutions to integrate desktop and shared devices into local and wide area networks and / or other host-based networks.

Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge: Knowledge of Operating systems, D.O.S.; Win 3.1; win/9x; 2K; XP; NT; Networking, LANS; WANS; TCP/IP; Software, MS Office Products, Hardware: CAT 5 cabling, Imaging, Inventory, Installation, and basic computer troubleshooting. Knowledge of personal computes and their installation and maintenance. Basic telephone installation and troubleshooting. Also a wide variety of software and related components.
