I am doing a search for a Wireless & Networking Department Technical Manager and I am hoping that you can help me out with some referrals or even point me in the right direction to some qualified people.

I am looking for someone who can do the following:

Direct department operations and lead the Wireless and Networking Systems department in defining strategic direction for future department growth
Pursue funding for the advanced R&D from various government agencies
Coordinate with other companies and/or departments to develop and execute programs in the area of Defense Information Sciences
A minimum of 5 years experience in management with superior leadership skills
A track record in capturing externally funded programs
Knowledge of communications requirements and future communications opportunities for the United States Department of Defense
Experience in the development, implementation, and analysis of mobile ad-hoc wireless systems, including wireless sensor networks, local area networks, and tactical networks
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack, MANET protocols, wireless media access protocols, and QoS concepts
