Part Time Internship Position

Description: Providing technical support for cross platform credit software. The software is a client/server credit processing suite which allows a customer to run a gateway allowing various clients to communicate with the server and based on account information and privileges, forwards this transaction to the correct processor in their proprietary protocol. This position would play a key role in the maintenance of the manual as the software moves to a redesigned architecture from 1.x to 2.0, as well as providing technical support to customers.

Skills Needed:

Good phone personality/ interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Technical Writing (ENGL 3720)
Familiarity with LaTeX or other tag based language (XML, HTML, etc. or CSCI 1150)
Basic understanding of version control
Other script or web programming languages/APIs are a bonus (PHP, Perl, HTML, Flash)
