Web Developer

Skills required are used to assist web development in a corporate environment to support Engineering and Mapping sciences. Immediate support is needed to provide web development using .Net technology. Individual must be able to provide technical input for approaches in deployment. Long term needs will require development in other platforms.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of full time work experience developing in .Net technology.
• Experience and strong knowledge in web based development using ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Ajax. Java and JSP knowledge useful.
• Strong Knowledge of basic SQL language.
• Strong knowledge of web based security and permissions.
• Knowledge of web services: SOAP, WMS or related.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Other Preferred Skills:

• Artistic, Graphical web design capability
• Basic knowledge of CAD (MicroStation and/or AutoCad)
• Basic knowledge of GIS
• Basic knowledge of web based mapping.
• Basic knowledge of ESRI products (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcIMS)
• Basic knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server database

Travel:

• Continental U.S. and International travel may be required
• Must have a valid driver's license
